Heartwarming Service Project
On March 8, over 40 volunteers worked at P.E.T. of Leighton. Thanks to careful planning by the coordinators and the generosity of donors who funded the materials and the pizza party that followed, 14 PETs were assembled that afternoon! Check out this video slideshow about the service project.
Lest We Forget
Are you a veteran, have a relative who is a veteran, or simply want to honor those who have served in the Armed Forces? Plan to attend the Memorial Day service at 9 a.m. on May 27 at Peoria Cemetery. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy homemade cinnamon rolls following the 30-minute service. Rain location: Peoria Gym.
Reflecting on 2012
During the last Sunday evening service of 2012, the congregation enjoyed a video highlighting church events and candid photos taken during the year. As we reflected on 2012, we were reminded of God’s care for us and of his faithfulness through the good times and the bad.
