Kathy attended Christian schools in California and met her husband at Dordt College. She has been part of the Peoria church family and served as its administrative assistant for nearly 40 years. Most of her work is done at home on a part-time basis, and she enjoys the opportunity to help support the pastor, Council, and ministries of the church. Kathy and Tim live and work on their family farm and have been blessed with four children and 14 grandchildren.
Grant Fynaardt
Groundskeeper
The groundskeeper is responsible for the lawns, landscaping, cleaning the youth building, and snow removal.
Grant is a lifelong member of Peoria CRC. He graduated from Peoria Christian School, Pella Christian High School, and received a degree in agriculture from Dordt College. Grant and his wife Amber have been groundskeepers at the church since 2017. They enjoy spending time outdoors while caring for God's beautiful creation. You might also see their son Enoch or daughter Ilana helping out or riding on the mower! When they aren’t mowing yards or trimming bushes, they enjoy working on the family farm, cleaning, and teaching.

Sandy grew up near Sully, IA, and joined Peoria CRC in 1989 when she married her husband, Mike. Sandy graduated from Sully Christian School, Pella Christian High School, Dordt College, and William Penn University with an accounting degree. She works part-time at Tulip City Agency as their bookkeeper. Sandy and her husband have four grown children.
